How will i cope after break-up?

I did something awful to my boyfriend when we first started dating two years ago, I cheated on him with my ex. I promised him I wouldn't contact my ex again if we stayed together but eventually I did. My ex would send me random texts and I sometimes replied and then others I didn't. I don't love my ex anymore but I feel sorry for him cos he had a lot happen to him. Anyways my boyfriend came with me on a work-trip and after we got home after having a lovely week together he broke up with me. I didn't know why until he told me he saw my ex had text me when we were away, I often leave my phone around him cos I have nothing to hide. I don't understand why he didn't confront me on the trip he says he didnt wanna cause a scene. He is texting me back when i text, he answered the phone to me and we talked for half an hour about random things and he is meeting me tomorrow but says its not to talk about getting back together. He has told his friends about us breaking up. Do you think in all honesty there may be hope here, I realized I screwd up I told my ex to sort out his own problems and deleted his number and email address and photos of him are now gone. It was a civil break up no screaming or fighting.How will i cope after break-up?
1ST TELL HIM THAT YOU CHEATED and be honest about it. Whatever happens take it on the chin and learn from it.How will i cope after break-up?
if you're to convince him to try again, you're going to have to mean it when you say you'll cut off all contact with the ex. you've ruined your partners trust and if he gives you another chance it's going to take a lot of work to build it back up.
It's your own fault for cheating on him. Doesn't matter whether you are male or whether you are female, you never ever EVER cheat on someone! EVER.
